HWF Signed MoU with CDA  and  BHP for Margalla Hills

HWF has signed an MoU with Capital Development Authority (CDA) and BHP Petroleum (Pakistan) Pty Limited (BHP) for a project valuing 18 million aimed at environmental management and development of visitor facilities to support nature experience and education in Margallah Hills National Park, Islamabad. BHP contributes in terms of grant to HWF Rs. 8,624,000, CDA contributes share of Rs. 6,110,000 and HWF Rs. 3,450,000.  Project Details

Water  Supply and Sanitation Started  In Neelum Valley

HWF has started Community Water Supply and Sanitation Project in Surgun Valley of Neelum in AJK. PPAF has provided a funding of Rs. 4,897,000 for this project. The project will complete Water Supply and Sanitation in eight villages of the valley providing clean drinking water and collecting waste from the communities to raise their living standard and improve hygiene conditions. Launched Website of Rohtas Fort, www.rohtasfort.com

HWF has now launched official website of Rohtas Fort. The website has been launched on advise and request of Ministry of Culture. The purpose of this website is  to help attract the visitors to Rohtas and to expose the history, structure and other details of the fort and guidance to visitors.

Federal Minister for Culture Visits Rohtas Fort

Federal Minister for Culture Dr. G. G. Jamal visited the Rohtas Fort Museum on the occasion of book launching ceremony. In his address, he appreciated the efforts of HWF in conservation of culture of Pakistan.

Launch of Aman ur Rahman's Book at Rohtas

Book launching ceremony of Mr. Aman ur Rahman's book "Zaheer uddin Muhammad Babur - A Numismatic Study" was held at Rohtas Fort. Federal Minister for Culture, Dr. G.G. Jamaal was the chief guest along with the Ambassador of Uzbekistan and the the High Commission of India.

HWF Organized  One Day Trip for Orphan Children

HWF organized a one day recreation and educational trip to Rohtas Fort for orphans children of Dar Ali Bin Abi Talib, Islamabad. The children, about eight, included student of class one to ten. They visited the historical places of the fort and were guided about history, importance and construction of the fort. They visited the Sher Shah Suri Museum and Sohail Akhbar Khan Visitors Information centre. Some volunteer students of M.A. Jinnah University also joined in the children. HWF intends to hold such type of events regularly.
